Welcome to Covenant Monthly

There's a lot of noise right now about how much capital is pouring into legal AI. What's more interesting to us is where it's going. The money is shifting away from tools that solve one narrow problem and toward platforms that actually own a workflow end-to-end, the data behind it, and the trust to be relied on for it. That's not a small distinction. It's the difference between a faster way to do the same task and a genuinely different way of working.

We've believed this from day one. It's why we built Covenant around the full document lifecycle rather than a single point in it, and it's validating to watch the market catch up to that thesis.

Thanks for being here for the start of this. We’re glad to have you along for it.

— Jen Berrent and Richard Perris, Covenant Co-Founders
